Kimberley’s Boho Wedding in Berkshire
Kimberley got married at Ufton Court in Berkshire. Such a beautiful venue, I have worked there many times. It was a warm midsummer wedding, filled with fresh green foliage and white wildflowers. Creating this textured updo was so much fun. At the trial Kimberley couldn’t decide between a half up style or a tousled updo but after much deliberation we choose to keep her hair up and leave lots of strands out around her face to frame it and keep the look relaxed. When the flowercrown arrived Kimberley was a little nervous as it was bigger than expected so I loosened her updo even more and padded it out in width and volume to compliment her wildflower hair accessory. Her beautiful boho look is a style I loved creating. It was really exciting to be a part of her special day which was captured so beautifully in these photos by Helen Sarah Pictures.
Laura’s Romantic Peach and Rose Wedding
Laura was so much fun and it was a pleasure getting her ready. For her makeup she wanted a natural complexion with fresh peach and golden tones on the eyes. Her hair was a twisted romantic half up style finished with a pretty hairvine.
Hannah’s end of summer Berkshire wedding
Beautiful photo, thanks to - Jamie Dunn Photography
Hannah wanted a bridal look that naturally enhanced her eyes and skin. She had a fringe that she wanted pull off her forehead and liked a round the head braid with little flowers embedded into it. The updo I created was softly gathered and tousled. The makeup was airbrushed on with peachy tones on the cheeks. Eyes were lined with cluster lashes and Mac Frozen Quartz (a shimmery lilac creme shadow). Lips were hydrated and coloured with By Terry's innocent kiss lip sheer. The wedding morning was filled with music and laughter, and Hannah could not wait to walk down the aisle.

April’s Wedding – Summer 2016
April got married at Wokefiekd park, a lovely Berkshire venue, at the end of July. After her hair and makeup trial, April realised she wanted to look very natural on her wedding day so we kept her eye makeup soft and neutral. April had her Individual Express lashes applied with me a few days before the wedding, so this really opened and defined her eyes. We kept her skin airbrushed with pink cheeks and completed her look with a simple soft up do. She was super relaxed on the big day, even with the very limited time we had to get everyone ready. Her lovely bridesmaids stayed close by, I created their hair and makeup looks based on their preferences, whislt adding in a hint of April's ideas, they all looked simply stunning.
Serena’s June Wedding
Hi Melissa,
I hope you are well. I had been writing this message when I got you email! Crazy timing :)
I am just getting around to starting all of our thank you's and wanted to say the BIGGEST thank you to you!
I cannot tell you how happy I am that I chose you as my make up artist for the day. You were absolutely wonderful, calming, positive and very patient with me - especially when I had a minor panic when the heavens opened! You managed to keep me calm and relaxed which is no easy feat!
Everyone that was there in the morning said how lovely you were and I cannot agree more. You were a total joy to share the morning with!
And of course the actual hair and make up! It was perfect. I felt so confident throughout the whole day and everyone commented - it even last through hours and hours of dancing - despite being very hot and sweaty! And there wasn't a hair out of place by the end of the evening! I took a massive punt wearing my hair up - which I never do - and you made it work so well - so thank you.
I have attached some photos here - hopefully you will get a sense of what an amazingly wonderful day it was.
Thank you so much for your part in it all.
Love
Serena xx
Beatrice – October Wedding
If Disney had a Spanish Princess, she would be named Beatrice. After our trial, Beatrice's face lit up like I've never seen before, her first time wearing full makeup and she was thrilled. Her hair had to be "fluffy" in her words, she didn't like anything too smooth or shiny, she loves a rustic look and also wanted a side updo to show off the neckline of her Spanish wedding dress. We had a lot of fun and she couldn't wait to repeat the process for her big day. We used Temptu airbrush foundation, and Hourglass blusher. Her lips were almost bare with a nude Bobbi Brown lipgloss. She opted for a Melissa Clare hair comb which added a hint of sparkle to her hair. On the big day Beatrice never stopped smiling and even had time for a sing-a-long to Disney's Frozen, with her bridesmaids by her sides. Lots of fun!
Ufton Court Bridal PhotoShoot
Really loved working on this photoshoot with photographer Wayne Kahn. I created the hair and makeup looks using airbase airbrushing, Diva hair extensions, lots and lots of hair spray and beautiful hair pieces from Gemma Sutton.
